ABOUT PBIH

Prosper & Be In Health, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 US based Haiti non-profit established in 2007, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Since 2007, Prosper & Be In Health (PBIH) has partnered with organizations that have consistently demonstrated their care and concern for the poor, hungry, homeless, and others in unfortunate circumstances in the USA and abroad. We have participated in micro-lending programs, medical missions, education, technology, business assistance, and the development of healthcare facilities in several developing nations. We are using a few basic tools to create model systems that are prospering the lives of the youth, families, communities, and nations we serve.

LOCAL INITIATIVE

Prosper & Be in Health is taking a proactive stand against Youth malnutrition, obesity, and hunger. Our innovative educational approach incorporates S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math) education. PBIH has partnered with The Urban Food Forest, Inc., to manufacture Aquaponic (Aquaculture with Hydroponics) systems. Through the utilization of “Aquaponic Gardening Systems” and training workshops, PBIH has introduced students locally and abroad to practical hands-on learning techniques that promote health, nutrition, green practices, and sustainable gardening projects.

INTERNATIONAL INITIATIVE

Living Water Ministries Campus, NW Haiti

Prosper & Be in Health (PBIH) has partnered with Living Waters Ministry based in Atlantis, Florida to help build new schools and feed over 4,700 students in 31 separate villages throughout the Northwestern region of Haiti. Many students only receive one meal a day at school, and often this is their only meal each day! Living Water’s maintains a 600-acre campus located in the Northwest region of Ti-Lagoon, Haiti. The Northwest region hosts over 750,000 residents. With such a tremendous labor force and new hope, opportunities abound.

Our future plans include requests to build more schools, homes, computer & vocational schools, medical clinics, water wells, churches and to create sustainable small business assistance opportunities (jobs) in the region. PBIH will continue to collaborate and partner with individuals and organizations that support the development of schools, renewable technology (Broadband TVWS & Green Solar Energy), and business models that facilitate sustainable community development projects.

At present, with the generous support of Food for the Poor, Inc., Phase I of construction of the new Anse Rouge Christian Secondary School (ARC) in Anse Rouge, Haiti was recently completed. This was a successful collaboration with Living Waters Ministries, Inc., and Food for the Poor, Inc. We are now roughly 90% away from completing our Phase II fundraising goals to provide Green Solar Energy and broadband internet services to the ARC School along with construction of the new ARC “Primary” School. We will also introduce an online educational curriculum in the region. Together, we are raising-up “World Class Leaders”.

We want to take this time to thank you for your continued support, collaborations, partnerships, and donations. It is a privilege to serve in the kingdom of God, and we are so thankful that you have chosen to serve others through us.

Sincerely,

Frederick Esters, Co-Founder/CEO
